1. Our Commitment to Your Family's Privacy
At Nimantran (accessible from https://nimantran.online), we treat personal celebration details with the highest degree of respect and discretion. We design digital invitations for sacred milestones—weddings, Ganesh Chaturthi, milestone anniversaries, and family celebrations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your family data or guest contact lists to third-party advertisers.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you interact with Nimantran, we collect information in two distinct ways:
- Contact & Commission Inquiries: When you submit an invitation inquiry via our contact form or directly on WhatsApp, you provide your name/family name, WhatsApp phone number, email address, occasion type, event dates, and optional notes. This information is used solely to prepare your invitation preview, communicate design drafts, and fulfill your order.
- Website Usage Data (Anonymous): When you browse our storefront, we collect anonymous aggregate metrics (pages viewed, interaction with the interactive preview tool, templates inspected) to improve the website's performance and design experience.
2.5 Free Tools and Your Data
Our free celebration tools (Save-the-Date maker, Invitation Wording generator, Cost Calculator, Couple Hashtag generator, 2027 Festival Calendar, Guest List template, and Shagun UPI QR maker) work inside your web browser. We don't have a server that receives what you type into them.
What you type stays on your device unless you choose to send it, for example by submitting an optional enquiry form or opening WhatsApp. A Save-the-Date link carries your card details inside the link itself, so anyone you share the link with can read them; we keep no copy. UPI IDs and amounts in the Shagun QR tool are never sent to us. Our analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, described below) record how pages are used, such as which buttons are clicked, but are set up so the text you type in these tools is masked and not collected.
3. Analytics Technologies (Google Analytics 4 & Microsoft Clarity)
To understand how visitors discover and navigate our studio storefront, we use standard, free measurement tools:
Measures aggregated traffic, bounce rates, and high-level conversion actions (e.g., clicking WhatsApp inquiry buttons or loading template previews). IP anonymization is enabled. We strictly configure GA4 never to accept personal names, phone numbers, or free-form host notes as event parameters.
Provides anonymous behavioral heatmaps and session replay to diagnose layout issues and broken links. Strict input masking is enabled: all form fields (names, phone numbers, emails, notes) are automatically masked and never recorded in session captures.
4. Cookies & Tracking Preferences
Our site uses first-party functional storage (such as remembering your chosen language preference between English and Hindi) and standard analytics cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to view our invitation templates or contact the studio.
5. Guest Data, Personalization Links & DPDP Compliance
When a host commissions our Concierge Guest Management & RSVP service, the host provides guest contact details (such as recipient names and WhatsApp phone numbers) to generate personalized invitation links:
- Strict Purpose Limitation: Guest names and phone numbers are used solely and exclusively to deliver that specific event's digital invitation and record attendance/RSVP responses for the host.
- No Cross-Marketing: We never add third-party guests to marketing broadcasts, promotional campaigns, or newsletters. Guest details are never shared with or sold to outside parties.
- Security & Unguessable Tokens: Each guest receives an unguessable, cryptographically secure invitation token accessible only over encrypted HTTPS.
- Retention & Automatic Purge: In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) standards, guest telephone records and RSVP responses are retained strictly during the active celebration lifecycle and are hard-deleted 30 days after the event expiry date.
- Guest Deletion on Request: Any guest whose contact details were submitted may request immediate deletion of their record by emailing privacy@nimantran.online with their event reference.
6. Data Retention & Invitation Hosting
Invitation websites commissioned through Nimantran remain securely hosted for the duration of the chosen package (12 months for Royal Bespoke, and 36 months for Concierge). Following this period, event data may be archived or removed upon host request.
7. Grievance Officer & Contacting the Studio
In compliance with the DPDP and IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, questions, concerns, or data deletion requests may be directed to our designated Grievance Officer:
